The Challenge
For a committee tasked with increasing the pace of environmentally sustainable innovation, it was important to find a way to greatly reduce printed materials for each meeting. That's why the leadership at the Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability at Ingersoll Rand wanted to rethink their approach to meeting. Their goal was to decrease waste and improve efficiency, organization and connectivity.The Solution
Instead of printing the thousands of pages of material typically required for each meeting of the committee, Manning worked with PR firm Gibbs & Soell and CEES to create a paperless “binder” for each member. The resulting app, CEES iPrep, includes text, photo, and video content along with the charts, graphs and financial data needed for each meeting. The iPrep enterprise app was then installed on iPads that were given to committee members prior to their latest conference. CEES was able to drastically reduce waste while including multimedia content that was previously impossible with printed materials.
